National Sugar Institute Invites Application for Sugar Engineering

National Sugar Institute, an academic body set up by the Department of Food, Ministry of Consumer affairs, Food and Public Distribution for the development of sugar sector has invited applications for the Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Sugar Technology, Sugar Engineering and Alcohol Technology disciplines. 

The process of admission for the academic session 2014-15 of the Institute has started. The last date for submission of the applications is April 11, 2014. The details of the courses, examination pattern, centers and syllabus etc. is available on the Institute’s website http://nsi.gov.in and may also be obtained from the office of the Director, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur or from Helpline 0512 – 2573613. 

National Sugar Institute, Kanpur since its inception in 1936 has played a pivotal role in the growth and development of the Indian Sugar & Alcohol industry by providing the specifically trained man power 

The institute also conducts short duration Certificate Courses e.g.: Sugar Boiling Certificate Course, Sugar Engineering Certificate Course, Pre-Harvest Cane Maturity Survey Course and Certificate Course in Quality Control.
